Dinki Belle Spring Blossom Nail Wraps | Review

Dinki Belle nail wraps bring 'Fashion to your fingertips', are non toxic and are kind to nails lasting up to 14 days!

One thing about nail products like gel, is that it can leave nails damaged and can take a while to apply which is fine if you have the time to apply and remove it but when you don't, that's when easier methods come in handy!

I was sent a pack of the 'Spring Blossom' Nail Wraps* £6.99 to try.

My first impression of the wraps is good, I love the fresh, Spring inspired design and the packaging is  simple but effective.
The pack contains 20 nail wraps, so lots to find a close fit for each nail and any left over can still be used even as a single statement nail.

I found the application of the wraps extremely easy and the instructions were simple to follow. The application probably only took me 15 minutes to apply and as no drying time is required, I could get up and do something else straight after!

Overall I'm really impressed with the nail wraps and love the fact that Dinki Bell have lots of different pre printed designs to suit any mood or occasion.
The whole collection of wraps can be found online at www.dinkibelle.co.uk, along with tips, tricks and tutorials.

My Simple Skincare | Routine

Until recently, skincare was important to me but the products I was using weren't.
Using mismatched products and brands, I decided that it was time to base my skincare around one that would work for me.

I decided I wanted affordable products and they had would work well with my teenage skin.  After researching online I decided that Simple Skincare products sounded best for me and went on to buy some of the range.
Simple Skincare
In total I bought 4 products from the 'Simple' Skincare Range, a face wash, an eye balm and two moisturisers and all are under £5 each at full price (I bought mine on offer at half price).

The face wash I bought was the Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel £3.39. This face wash leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh without stripping the oils from my skin that usually leaves my skin feeling tight. This face wash also contains vitamins to soften and smooth skin.

The eye balm is the Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm £3.65. This is used by patting in thin layer of product under eyes, morning and night. Since using this eye balm, I have found that my concealer applies much nicer and doesn't crease as much as it used to and the skin under my eyes feels much softer.

One of the moisturisers is the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser £4.19. I bought this one to use in the morning and it gives me a perfect base for my makeup as its so light and leaves my skin feeling soft.

The other moisturiser is the Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser £4.19. Being a rich moisturiser I use this one at night, although it don't find it feels any heavier on my skin.
Both moisturisers are best used in light upwards motions when being applied to the skin.

Since changing my skincare products to simple my skin feels much healthier, smoother and looks improved.
Soon I would like to add more products from the range into my routine like the Micellar Water, toner and face wipes but for now I am really happy with my skincare!

More information on the products can be found at http://www.simple.co.uk.

Have you tried any products from the Simple Skincare Range?

Pink Parcel | Monthly Subscription Box

Today I have a review of a monthly subscription box by Pink Parcel. This subscription box is different to others as it's a box specifically designed to help you feel better at 'that time of the month'!
Pink parcel works by giving you three dates, meaning you choose the one closest to your period, a wide range of sanitary product brands so you can chose your most preferred and you will be sent out a box every month a few days before your period.
Pink parcel review
Today I have the April box* from Pink Parcel to give you an insight as to what the box generally contains every month.
Pink parcel review
Each box contains a 'for you' pack with some treats to cheer you up, a 'for bedtime' pack with some of your chosen sanitary products, a
'for now' pack containing your sanitary products for general use, a 'keep these in your bag pack' to make carrying sanitary products with you so much easier, a 'for down there' pack with some freshening up wipes and a pack of bags to dispose your sanitary products in!
In every box the 'For you' pack contains a mixture of treats which change every month! Here is a list of products that the April box contained:
Npw Pomegranate & paw paw Face Mask
A Mallow & Marsh Bar
Teapigs Camomile Flowers tea bag
True Brit London Pink Parcel Nail Polish
Nairn's Rough Oatcakes
Booze Body Care French Martini Hand Cream
A product from New Cid Cosmetics
The parcel contains lots of products to last you through your period and give you the choice as to what sanitary product they send you and even your favourite brand.

Pink Parcel even go as far as thinking about the disposing of your products when out and about as sometimes it can be difficult and not as discrete as it should be and by sending out freshen up wipes mean you can always feel clean and fresh.

Overall I love the idea of this subscription box! It comes in plain  packaging so your postman won't have any idea what's inside the parcel and contains so much stuff for just £12.99 (including P&P) however new subscribers to the box get their first box for £9.95!

Having the box sent each month would definately give you a 'Pick me up' and not knowing what bits and pieces the box is going to contain makes opening it up exciting.

All information and to start a pink parcel subscription can be found on the website: www.pinkparcel.co.uk

Have you subscribed to any subscription boxes? What do you think of Pink Parcel?

Sunkissed Sculpt & Glow | Review

Sunkissed Sculpt & Glow Kit
Today I have a review of a relatively new product from Sunkissed, their 'Sculpt & Glow*' Contour kit £4.99.
I have tried a bronzer by Sunkissed before, which I already have a review up of on my blog (you can find it here) so was excited to try out this new product.
Sunkissed Sculpt & Glow Kit
Firstly the kit comes with a 'Sculpt' shade, used for contouring and a 'Glow' shade, used for highlighting.
The contour shade is perfect for using to define cheek bones, the sides of your nose and jaw line. Unlike some contour products, this adds depth to your face without the usual orange tinge.

The highlight shade is used to highlight cheek and brow bones for a brighter, uplifted look. Some highlights have a chunky glitter finish, which can be unnatural for everyday use but I love this highlight as it has a natural shimmer that is find more suitable.

Overall I love this little contour kit, it's very affordable, the two shades are great and it has a sleek and compact design!

Do you have a favourite contour palette/kit? If so what is it?!
Let me know below in the comments.

Easter at Lush | Haul

Today I am back with another Lush Haul! My last post was also a Lush Haul (which you can find here) and contained some products from the standard Bath products at Lush but today I have two products from the Limited Edition Easter range!
As Easter is this weekend, I thought it would be perfect to show you two of the products I have from the Easter selection as the products won't be around for long!

The first product I have is the 'UltraViolet' Bubble Bar £4.95. It's used by taking a chunk and crumbling it under running water,
creating heaps of bubbles. It has a refreshing Violet scent, just like Parma Violet sweets!
Lush generally say that it will give two generous baths but I personally can get around 8 decent baths from a bubble bar this size, so is great value for money.
If you prefer bubbles in your bath, this is the product for you!

The second and final product I have is the 'Fluffy Egg' Bath Bomb £2.95. This is a one use Bath Bomb, used by simply dropping into a bath of water and watching it fizz away.

This product shares the same sweet scent, as the much loved 'Snow Fairy Shower Gel' that only makes an appearance at Christmas time. So is defiantly something worth stocking up on if you're in need of a Snow Fairy fix!

The only thing I would say about bath bombs, is that they don't create any bubbles but adding a small amount of a bubble bar to the bath should fix this if you like bubbles!
Lush do have a full range of products in their East range which can be found here or by popping instore to take a look but be quick... the products won't be around for long!

Have you tried any of the products from the Lush Easter Range?

Small Lush Haul | Lush Cosmetics

I'm a huge fan of the bath products from 'Lush Cosmetics' so today I thought I'd share with you, four bath bombs from their standard range.
I haven't tried any of these bath bombs before, so this post is a great way to share my first impressions and opinions on the scent and appearance.

'The Experimenter' £3.95:
This is one of the more colourful bath bombs by Lush. It contains four bright sections, which are meant to create a rainbow of colours in the bath.

With this bath bomb it is quite hard to work out and describe the scent but on the website it says it contains 'Vanilla and Tonka absolute'.
I would though, say that this has an aquired scent and is definitely worth having a sniff of in store before buying.

'Frozen' £3.95:
A bright blue bath bomb, I believe is inspired by the film 'Frozen'.
The bomb contains 'Grapefruit, Rose and Neroli Oil' sounding quite refreshing.
It gives bath water a blue hue with a fine shimmer, very fitting with its name but should give a nice relaxing bath.

'Avobath' £3.50
This bath bomb has a plain design compared to the other two but has a refreshing lemon scent, that reminds me of sherbet!
It contains fresh avocado, so is hydrating and its lemon scent is from the Lemongrass oil that it contains.

I think this bath bomb would be great to use in the morning before a busy day because of its uplifting, fresh scent!

That's the end of my Small Lush Haul. I'm planning on posting full indept posts of each of the bath bombs, when I use them, to show how they are whilst in the bath, how they left my skin feeling and giving my overall impression!

Have you used any of these bombs from Lush? And would you recommend them?

February Favourites | Beauty

Today I am back with my February Favourites! I haven't posted one of these in quite a while but have a few things this month I have been loving and wanted to share with you all!

The first product I have is 'The Righteous Butter' £10 from Soap & Glory. I was actually sent this product by Soap & Glory and it featured in my Soap & Glory gift Guide at Christmas which can be found here if you wanted to take a look!

This product has found its way into my favourites post as I have been using it a lot to keep my feet in tip top condition. I like to put this body butter on a few hours before going to bed, with the addition of fluffy socks and after a few hours my feet are left feeling soft and smooth!

Next up is the 'Exfoliating Daily Face Wash' by Clean & Clear £3.10. I tend to swap and change my face wash, so never usually have a favourite but have been loving this a lot this month!

It's perfect for my oily skin as its oil free and its statement 'Softer skin from day 1' is something I have definitely noticed since first using the product.
Next up is a perfume, 'Cool Water' by Davidoff £36/50ml. When I first bought this I wasn't sure if it was my kind of scent but since using it, it has grown on me. It has a very fruity/fresh scent... Here is its actual description:
'Fruity notes of Quince and Blackcurrant, Pineapple and Honeydew Melon, combine with a fresh floral blend of Lotus Blossom and Waterlily'.

A very wearable everyday fragrance, I have been wearing near enough everyday anyway and has become a firm favourite of mine since purchasing.

Last in my line up of February Favourites is the 'Sensationail Gel Starter Kit' £69.99. I received this at Christmas but have had the most use out of the kit this month.
This is a Gel Nail kit which comes with an LED Lamp, providing up to two weeks of wear.

Whilst wearing this my nails have been able to grow without breaking, something I usually struggle with when wearing standard nail varnish! I will be posting a full review of the kit in the near future but all I'll say for now is that this product means I won't be using standard nail varnish again!

This is my round up of February Favourites... Do you see any of yours here? Are there any you have tried? Let me know I'm the comments!

Next up is the 'Lashtasic' Mascara* £4.95. A Black mascara to help create a false lash effect by adding volume and length to lashes.

2 True BB Cream | Review

Today I am reviewing a BB cream from 2True. 2True is an affordable UK brand, selling high quality products at everyday prices!
The 8 in 1 BB beautiful cream* £3.50 is a BB cream (Blemish Balm) is a lightweight foundation that 'gives a fresh faced natural glow'.

I like the concept of the product, it has 8 functions in one tube, is lightweight, so is great for use on those good skin days and is an affordable everyday product!

I've only found that even though this product is in the shade light/medium, it has a slight orange tone to it. Me having fair skin, means the product doesn't match especially during winter when I'm generally even paler but I do think this product would be great for someone with a slight tan/less pale skin and is looking for a lightweight everyday BB cream!

Have you used/considered using a BB cream?
