Pink Parcel | Monthly Subscription Box

Today I have a review of a monthly subscription box by Pink Parcel. This subscription box is different to others as it's a box specifically designed to help you feel better at 'that time of the month'!
Pink parcel works by giving you three dates, meaning you choose the one closest to your period, a wide range of sanitary product brands so you can chose your most preferred and you will be sent out a box every month a few days before your period.
Pink parcel review
Today I have the April box* from Pink Parcel to give you an insight as to what the box generally contains every month.
Pink parcel review
Each box contains a 'for you' pack with some treats to cheer you up, a 'for bedtime' pack with some of your chosen sanitary products, a
'for now' pack containing your sanitary products for general use, a 'keep these in your bag pack' to make carrying sanitary products with you so much easier, a 'for down there' pack with some freshening up wipes and a pack of bags to dispose your sanitary products in!
In every box the 'For you' pack contains a mixture of treats which change every month! Here is a list of products that the April box contained:
Npw Pomegranate & paw paw Face Mask
A Mallow & Marsh Bar
Teapigs Camomile Flowers tea bag
True Brit London Pink Parcel Nail Polish
Nairn's Rough Oatcakes
Booze Body Care French Martini Hand Cream
A product from New Cid Cosmetics
The parcel contains lots of products to last you through your period and give you the choice as to what sanitary product they send you and even your favourite brand.

Pink Parcel even go as far as thinking about the disposing of your products when out and about as sometimes it can be difficult and not as discrete as it should be and by sending out freshen up wipes mean you can always feel clean and fresh.

Overall I love the idea of this subscription box! It comes in plain  packaging so your postman won't have any idea what's inside the parcel and contains so much stuff for just £12.99 (including P&P) however new subscribers to the box get their first box for £9.95!

Having the box sent each month would definately give you a 'Pick me up' and not knowing what bits and pieces the box is going to contain makes opening it up exciting.

All information and to start a pink parcel subscription can be found on the website: www.pinkparcel.co.uk

Have you subscribed to any subscription boxes? What do you think of Pink Parcel?

February Favourites | Beauty

Today I am back with my February Favourites! I haven't posted one of these in quite a while but have a few things this month I have been loving and wanted to share with you all!

The first product I have is 'The Righteous Butter' £10 from Soap & Glory. I was actually sent this product by Soap & Glory and it featured in my Soap & Glory gift Guide at Christmas which can be found here if you wanted to take a look!

This product has found its way into my favourites post as I have been using it a lot to keep my feet in tip top condition. I like to put this body butter on a few hours before going to bed, with the addition of fluffy socks and after a few hours my feet are left feeling soft and smooth!

Next up is the 'Exfoliating Daily Face Wash' by Clean & Clear £3.10. I tend to swap and change my face wash, so never usually have a favourite but have been loving this a lot this month!

It's perfect for my oily skin as its oil free and its statement 'Softer skin from day 1' is something I have definitely noticed since first using the product.
Next up is a perfume, 'Cool Water' by Davidoff £36/50ml. When I first bought this I wasn't sure if it was my kind of scent but since using it, it has grown on me. It has a very fruity/fresh scent... Here is its actual description:
'Fruity notes of Quince and Blackcurrant, Pineapple and Honeydew Melon, combine with a fresh floral blend of Lotus Blossom and Waterlily'.

A very wearable everyday fragrance, I have been wearing near enough everyday anyway and has become a firm favourite of mine since purchasing.

Last in my line up of February Favourites is the 'Sensationail Gel Starter Kit' £69.99. I received this at Christmas but have had the most use out of the kit this month.
This is a Gel Nail kit which comes with an LED Lamp, providing up to two weeks of wear.

Whilst wearing this my nails have been able to grow without breaking, something I usually struggle with when wearing standard nail varnish! I will be posting a full review of the kit in the near future but all I'll say for now is that this product means I won't be using standard nail varnish again!

This is my round up of February Favourites... Do you see any of yours here? Are there any you have tried? Let me know I'm the comments!

Makeup for under £5 | W7 Cosmefics

When it comes to makeup, finding a high quality product at an everyday affordable price is something a lot of people want. Today I have four products ( in the picture below) from W7 and the great thing is... They are all under £5!
The product first up is the 'Cheeky Chaps' Multi Blush £4.95*. This blush contains a mix of three shades which when combined create a natural healthy glow on the cheeks, created by the small particles of shimmer that it contains.
This blush is perfect for everyday wear and each colour can be used as a highlight so has multiple uses.

Next up is the 'Lashtasic' Mascara* £4.95. A Black mascara to help create a false lash effect by adding volume and length to lashes.
This mascara is fairly good at holding a curl but is quite wet so is best applied in thin layers that are left to dry between each.

Next up is the 'Making Waves' Eye Colour* £4.95. This is a multi- eye shadow palette that contains 5 colours ranging from light to dark, perfect for creating a soft smokey eye.

Last but not least is the 'Kiss Me' Plumpling Lip Gloss* £4.95. This is a clear lip gloss, used to create the appearance of fuller lips or can be used over lip stick to add a shine.

These four products are just some of the affordable,  high quality products that W7 Cosmetcis sell! The whole range can be found on their website at... www.w7cosmetics.co.uk

W7 are currently updating their website so not every product they sell is listed, this is why two of the products in this post don't have any direct links to the page. Once I am able to add the links to the products, I will be updating this post!

Have you tried any products by W7?

Why not have a read of one of my previous post on some more products by W7 here!

I Love... Cleansing Hand Gel Collection | Review

Hand Cleansing Gels are one of my many, hand bag essentials! What's even better is when the much loved brand 'I Love...' Bring out their own hand gel range in four surprisingly sweet scents!

There are four scents in the range, 'Raspberry & Blackberry*', 'Mango & Papaya*', 'Strawberries & Cream*' and 'Coconut & Cream*' (Which is definately my favourite!)

With Jojoba these hand gels are very moisturising, have a fast acting formula and hygienically cleanse hands

At an affordable £1.25 each these lovely hand gels would be great as part of a gift or even a stocking filler. They make hand gels even more exciting unlike the usual standard hand gels available.

If are interested in coconut scented things you can check out my review of some other products in the range here.

These hand gels can be bought from Superdrug and th full range of I Love... Products can be found at www.ilovecosmetics.com

2 True BB Cream | Review

Today I am reviewing a BB cream from 2True. 2True is an affordable UK brand, selling high quality products at everyday prices!
The 8 in 1 BB beautiful cream* £3.50 is a BB cream (Blemish Balm) is a lightweight foundation that 'gives a fresh faced natural glow'.

I like the concept of the product, it has 8 functions in one tube, is lightweight, so is great for use on those good skin days and is an affordable everyday product!

I've only found that even though this product is in the shade light/medium, it has a slight orange tone to it. Me having fair skin, means the product doesn't match especially during winter when I'm generally even paler but I do think this product would be great for someone with a slight tan/less pale skin and is looking for a lightweight everyday BB cream!

Have you used/considered using a BB cream?

Sweetease Waxing Kits | Review

If there's one type of hair removal that's my least favourite it would have to be waxing. After using waxing strips in the past, I've been left with sticky residue and leftover hairs but that was until I tried 'Sweetease'!

'Sweetease is a super easy-to-use hair remover, that leaves you skin silky smooth for weeks longer than shaving!'

'Sweetease' have three waxing kits... leg waxing kit* (£3.99), Bikini waxing kit* (£3.99) and Face waxing kit* (£3.99).
The waxing kits are perfect for beginners as the kit includes the waxing strips which are available in 3 different sizes to suit your needs, an instruction leaflet to explain how to use the waxing strips and 2 after wax wipes to remove residue if there is any.

After being put off by another brand of waxing strips these have made me use them again! The strips are easy to use, have a sweet vanilla scent and leave little to no residue that can easily be wiped away with an after wax wipe!
A little tip that I found handy when using them was, instead of warming the strips using your hands like the instructions state, I found using a hairdryer to warm them meant they peeled easier and gripped more hairs.

The Sweetease website can be found here where you can find more about the products and where they can be bought.
In the UK they are sold at Superdrug stores.

I love... Coconut & Cream collection | Review

With coconuts taking the beauty industry by a storm and being known for their nourishing and moisturising properties, I Love... have jumped on the bandwagon and introduced the 'Coconut & Cream' range!
From the range I have the body butter, hand lotion and bubble bath/shower creme.
Firstly the thing I love about this range is the 'sweet' but surprisingly 'refreshing' scent of the products and the cute and girly packaging that the products are contained in.

The Coconut & Cream bubble bath & shower creme £2.99* bubbles up well, moisturises and leaves a scent on the skin that lingers for hours.
The Coconut & Cream Body Butter £2.99* is a thick, nourishing body butter that leaves skin feeling soft and conditioned however does take a little while to sink in.
The Coconut & Cream Hand Lotion £1.99* nourishes, softens and leaves a long lasting scent.

I think that all of these products are really affordable but give you that little bit of luxury over some other brands.

Some of I Love's... Products can be found in Superdrug and Boots but the whole range can be found online at www.ilovecosmetics.eu

Slendertoxtea | Review

Recently I took part in another #bhtwitterparty where I was kindly gifted a 14 Day Teatox from Slendertoxtea! Just Incase you missed it, you can find my Slendertoxshake review here that I was gifted at the last event.

I was sent the 14 day Teatox* £13.99 and the 14 day sleeptox* £9.99 to try.
Slendertoxtea is a detox tea made from natural plants and herbs designed to help you lose weight, improve metabolism and beat the bloat.

For the Teatox to work you should drink one of the daytox tea bags as near to when you get up as possible, then drink one of the sleeptox tea bags a few hours before you go to bed every other night.

It's really simple to use, simply take a medium sized mug and warm not boiling water, pour in in, add a tea bag then leave for 2-3 minutes to brew.

I have to admit after trying this tea, I'm not really keen on the taste... It isn't unbearable that I can't drink it but certainly isn't something I enjoy the taste of.

Anyhow I will be trying the product over the next two weeks before posting my review of the product so check back for my results!

Update:
I have now fully tested the product and can conclude that even though the product has possible side effects of needing to go to the toilet, I luckily didn't experience any side affects apart from a small amount of stomach ache, although it quickly passed.
Overall this product had reduced my bloating but returned once I finished the teatox, meaning this product isn't a long term fix, unless drank every day. That brings me on to the taste which I didn't enjoy but found it easier to drink by brewing the tea with sweetners and drinking cold.
This is my first ever teatox and I'm not sure whether I would do one again.

Soap & Glory Products | Review

Soap and glory
Today I have two Soap & Glory products to review, one is 'Love At First Blush' and the other is 'One Heck Of A Blot'!
Soap and glory
The first product I am going to review is 'One Heck Of A Blot'* £12 which is a Mattifying Translucent powder.
The powder comes in one colour but suits all skin tones and is super fine, meaning it has a Traceless feel on the skin unlike some other face powders.
This product is great for using on the T-Zone but can also be used on the whole face either with the sponge provided or a big fluffy powder brush.
It's slightly pricier to other powders on the high street but this is the best powder I have used in terms of how fine the powder is and how well it keeps oily/shiny skin at bay!

Soap and glory

Lastly I have 'Love At First Blush'* £11 which is a Multi Shade Blushing Powder.
The powder contains 5 different shades which can be used together or individually to create a really natural glow, even though the colours do have a shimmer they don't leave the face looking shiny.
This product is perfect during summer and can also even be used as an eyeshadow!
The packaging of both of the products are lovely, I would definately recommend both of these products.

They can both be found on Soap & Glory website here... http://www.soapandglory.com
