What I got for my birthday | 2015

On the 1st of August I Celebrated my 17th Birthday and wanted to share with all some of the lovely presents I received! In case you where interested, I did one of these posts last year which you can view here if you wanted to read it.

Firstly I received two Yankee Candle samplers £1.80 each in the scents Shea Butter and Pink dragon fruit. Yankee candles are my favourite brand of candles so I was pleased to receive two more! 

Keeping on the subject of candles, I also received a Candle which is from primark in the scent Sweet Vanilla & Coconut! I've had one of these candles in the past and love the scent!
            

I also received two products from soap & glory, a Mist You Madly body spray £4 which is actually my favourite soap and glory scent and a Clean On Me Mini £2.50 which is also another favourite! 

                         

Another thing I received was this set of three Nail Varnishes By Studio London, the colours are lovely and perfect for Autumn/Winter which isn't far away.

The next thing  I received is from Lush, I have tried many of the bath products from Lush but not really anything else so I am really excited to try this out! It is the Buffy Body Butter £11.45 / 200g which from what I can gather is a body butter that is used on wet skin but it also contains exfoliation ingredients to remove dead skin cells! 

I also recived this necklace from New Look, which is a lovely pale blue, statement necklace. This is something I would wear with a plain top so the necklace stands out! 

Finally I was kindly sent this Angel Face BB Cream* £10.95, it is a BB cream with a combination of makeup and skincare giving a sheer, illuminated coverage.

April Favourites!

Hello everyone, today I am going to share with you my 5 April favourites... I can't believe how quick April went! 

My first favourite of this month is the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical £4.99. I usually wash my hair on a daily basis but this month I have been washing my hair every other day over the weekends and any days I have had off as this product comes in handy to refresh my hair in between washes! I love the coconut scent it has and it leaves my hair looking less oily, doesn't really add any volume but has been great for keeping my hair going when I don't wash it!

Next I have been loving the Fashion nails from Primark £1. The pair I have used this month are the pastel purple ones in the picture above as they are perfect for this time of the year with it being spring/summer time! Even though they are only stick on's if lucky I can get them to last for up to a week and for only £1, that is great!

Next I have also been loving the L'Oreal Infalliable 24hr Matte Foundation £7.99. I have literally been using this product EVERYDAY in April! I suffer with oily skin and this product leaves a matte finish after applied unlike a lot of other foundations, I wouldn't say it keeps your skin Matte all day but used in conjunction with other products for oily skin, this product works great and having used this foundation in the shade Porcelain, I can confirm that it is light enough for people with pale skin! 

Another beauty favourite I have this month, is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer  £4.19. I'm a bit late on jumping on the bandwagon when it comes to this product but after buying it, I've been loving it! It products a good amount of coverage under my eyes without being 'cakey' and it lasts well throughout the day. 

My last favourite of the month are the new Cafe Culture scented candles from Yankee Candle From £1.49. There are three new scents in the range Tarte Tatin, Cappuccino Truffle and Pain Au Raisin! I love all of the candles from Yankee anyway but this month I have been loving the new Tarte Tatin scent in particular, I don't typically like apple scented things but this candle smells just like the real thing and i love it!

What I got for my birthday | 2014

The other day was my birthday, it was a lovely day and I recieved some lovely presents from friends and family! So I thought I would make a blog post to show you all what I got!
Here I got this lovely Yankee candle, it's in the summer scoop scent and I absolutely love it because it's so sweet and summery!

I also got a body butter, body scrub and a body wash by soap and glory which is great because I absolutely love soap & glory products.

A friend bought me some presents which I am so thrilled with, one was a nail vanish by Kelly Brook, I think the colour is so lovely!

She also bought me some love heart earrings in lots of different colours which are so pretty.

And she also got me a sweetie pie shower jelly from lush and I cannot wait to use this as I have been wanting to buy this product for ages but haven't got round to buying it and it smells fantastic!

I did get bought a few other things but these are the main presents I thought I would show, I also got given some money and because I love lush I decided to buy myself some products from there!
